Sorry about the ridiculous delay, but I've been very busy with school work and such, and writing blog entries isn't very high on my priorities list. however, I still think I should start updating more frequently, just to get my thoughts on "paper".
As I might have already mentioned, I live in Montreal, so now is a very important time in our culture. Namely, the Habs are in the second round of the playoffs, and it looks like we have a good shot at going further. Being outside yesterday, a few minutes before the start of the game, things felt extremely surreal; people were either hurrying home to their TVs or sitting outside in bars. In case you don't know, we're playing Philadelphia, which means a lot of yelling about how one of their star forwards (Danny Briere) was supposed potentially going to be on our team before her refused. In the end, we lost last night, allowing them to tie up the series.
In between the second and third periods of the game, my friend Alison called and invited me to a movie with her and her friend, I said yes, even though it would mean missing a possible Habs comeback. My Mom, of course, said no, since Cavendish mall is "soooooo far away" (it really isn't). Alison most likely took it personally, which happens a lot, and I'm waiting to talk to her today.
I'd like to end this with a kind of shout out to an album I love. It's called Demon Days, by The Gorillaz, if you like Rock, Pop or even Electro, you'll definitely like the album, it's produced by Danger Mouse, one of my favourite artists ever, and has plenty of fantastic songs, although the first few are a bit weak. My suggestion is to buy it if you see it, and then listen to it again and again; it doesn't seem that great on the first listen, but after a while you'll come to love it like I do.
Thanks.
